Kids don't like it here anymore, construction, train was disappointing, animals are sad. Trying to sell an Airstream at the end of the train ride? Habitat for racoon? Not good. Full review by Jon G

For a small zoo, it was very impressive. Very clean, staff were awesome. The shows were the best. Color Bears were my favorite. They entertained the kids there. I will be back Full review by Michael C

Dang, their website doesn't contain that info! Try "hoglezoo" The most it says is that "Utah’s Hogle Zoo dates from 1931 and is located at the mouth of Emigration Canyon. Its natural terrain covers 42 acres of tree-lined pathways where visitors can view over 800 animals." I think that dsjhoward is probably about right at somewhere around 2 miles. It's not a large zoo. (I was surprised at how small it was.) We spent a couple of hours there, but most of that time was standing or sitting to observe the animals.
I don't live in Utah but my daughter and her family live there on the AF base. Would you recommend a Family Membership for them? Kids are 10,12,14,16 and was wondering if this is a one time visit zoo or if they would enjoy several times a year? The oldest son is confined to wheelchair so I was thinking this would be a great family gift for all to share.

We do live here (on base as well) and we’re fans of the zoo. But, with the kids being older, they may get bored after a couple visits. However, there are those kids that love going to a zoo multiple times, ours did (all grown now) and we would have appreciated that gift. The zoo is very nice, family friendly and worth the money. You know best regarding your grandkids, as far as the membership being a good buy, I believe it is.
I want to know how to rent an electric cart at the zoo.
