Is it okay to visit tajmahal in this diwali period. Isn't it overcrowded at this time or can we get empty rooms at hotel or they already full. Please can you answer me this question
A:
Hotel rooms would be easy to get during diwali season as most people would stay home. Surely you would local people visiting due to longer holiday window.
Does the Taj Mahal still have the three (3) hours time limit where if you exceed this, you pay extra at the exit gates? I read about this in 2019-2020 but wasn’t sure if that’s changed.

Hi. The tickets are separated in Before Noon ( morning ) hours and evening . The morning ticket is valid from 6.00 AM to 12.00 PM. And the evening ones are valid from 12.00 to about 6.00 ( I am not sure since I didn’t avail of it ). Not for three hours - for sure. But you possibly can’t spend more than 6 hours in the area anyways. Also do buy the ticket including the Mousoleum otherwise you won’t be allowed to go inside the main structure. Hope this helps.
