(CBS DETROIT) — AAA reported Monday that gas prices in Michigan have jumped 7 cents since after the Thanksgiving weekend. Michigan drivers are paying an average of $3.08 per gallon for regular unleaded, which is 11 cents less than this time last month and 4 cents cheaper than this time a year ago, according to AAA.

MICHGAN (WPBN/WGTU) -- AAA Michigan reports gas prices increased 7-cents from last week, but the average price is still down 11-cents from this time last month. Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $3.08 per gallon for regular unleaded.

The high number of Michiganders traveling to get to Thanksgiving dinner pushed gas prices up 7 cents a gallon on average to $3.08, but prices likely will come down again, experts predicted.
