Former Alabama football head coach Nick Saban believes the Crimson Tide are a long shot to make the playoff this year.

Now that he's no longer coaching the team, Nick Saban is apparently done lobbying on Alabama's behalf. The retired head coach said Wednesday on The Pat

"Because (of) their win over Georgia," CFP selection chair Warde Manuel said. "They won against Missouri. They've beat South Carolina and they won at LSU in a dominant fashion. So when you put those four wins against, you know, Mississippi and what they did ... when we compare resumes, that's how we saw it."
