CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Two teens were shot in an “unprovoked” attack in Parma on Friday night, police said. Parma police officers responded to at report of shots fired resulting in injury area on West Ridgewood Drive, just west of Ridge Road around 11:19 p.m., according to a news release.

Two teens were hospitalized after an unprovoked shooting in Parma, a 23-year-old suspect is in custody with a $1 million bond.

According to a report from Parma Police, officers responded to the area of West Ridgewood Drive west of Ridge Road for a report of shots fired. While officers checked the area, dispatchers received a call from one of the victims saying both he and his cousin had been shot,

According to police, the teen victims did not know the suspect and the alleged shooting "appears to be unprovoked."
