The latest results from a quarterly survey of business founders and owners shows growing optimism over the President-elect’s promised policies on taxes, trade, immigration, and even tariffs.

Trump has proposed importers pay a 25% tax on all products entering the country from Canada and Mexico, and an additional 10% tariff on goods from China, as one of his first executive orders. He previously floated a tariff of up to 20% on everything else the United States imports.

Global supply chains could be significantly disrupted if the president-elect implements tariffs against Canada, China and Mexico.
