DETROIT — The Zeeland West Dux are state champions. The team, now 13-2, took on the Detroit Martin Luther King Crusaders (10-4) in Michigan's Division 3 high school football championship Saturday at Ford Field in Detroit. The game began at 12:30 p.m., and the final score was 42-22.

DeWitt suffered a 32-20 loss to Zeeland West in a Division 3 state semifinal at Ada Forest Hills Eastern while being denied their first state title game appearance since 2021.
