The Minneapolis City Council voted Thursday to override Mayor Jacob Frey's unprecedented veto of the 2025 city budget adopted by the council this week. Late Tuesday night, the council passed a $1.88 billion budget and a roughly 6.9% property tax levy increase with over 70 amendments made to Frey's budget proposal.
