The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Jackson County Sheriff's Department for a missing 72-year-old man last seen in the Jackson County area.

A Silver Alert was activated for Patty Jean Cox who was last seen leaving her house on the west side of Bella Vista at around 2 p.m. on Nov. 25, according to the Bella Vista Police Department. Police said Patty was supposed to be heading to a store to go grocery shopping.
