Mark Clouse, the chief executive officer of Campbell’s Company, is leaving his post at the soup and snack maker to become president of the NFL’s Washington Commanders.

WASHINGTON -- The Washington Commanders hired Mark Clouse as their new team president Tuesday, putting the longtime food executive in charge of all facets of the organization's business operations when he starts in late January.

The Washington Commanders have tapped the CEO of Campbell's to be their new team president. He will start his new role in late January.

Food industry executive will oversee the team’s business operations and lead the planning and development of its next stadium.
