Cucumbers sold to Costco, Walmart, Wegmans and Albertsons have since been recalled for possible contamination with salmonella.

Over the weekend, the threat of salmonella triggered the recall of 10,000 cartons of organic eggs sold at Costco and whole cucumbers sold in 28 states.

The warehouse retailer l in the middle of a nationwide Salmonella outbreak linked to eggs and potentially contaminated cucumbers. A combined total of 29 states have been impacted by the outbreak, which has left multiple people sick.
