A 24-foot Christmas tree has arrived in the State Capitol to signal the holiday season’s beginnings. Officials say this year’s tree originates from Crystal Spring Tree Farm in Carbon County and is taller than previous trees.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — There has been an issue with the state’s officials Christmas tree. The big Spruce which was due to be delivered to the Capitol on Wednesday is yet to arrive. Officials say it turned out the truck sent to get the tree from Watoga State Park wasn’t big enough.
